Shirley Scott
My name is Shirley Scott, I was born in Tuscaloosa, AL
in1953, and I was raised in Ralph, AL. I am the oldest child of ten
children. I went to
Tuscaloosa
County High School.
I got married at a young age and the Lord blessed me
with three wonderful children, Eugene, Laramie, and April. I have
eight grand children, Keith, Dustin, Blake, Aaron, Addison, Drake, Pamela
& Cameron.
I got saved in the city of Tuscaloosa in
1981. I prayed and sought God for a home church. A
month later my cousin, Joyce Christian, invited me to the Double Portion
Church.
The moment I walked through the door of the church, I
heard God tell me "This is your church, this is where I want
you." Since that day, I attended services of the Double Portion
Church faithfully. After a few months I got baptized with the holy
Ghost and fire at the church.
In 1983, I started to sing in and work as a secretary for
the Double Portion Church. I have been working for the church ever
since. The Lord has truly been very good to me.
